Local road and transport projects

• Widened the Mitchell Freeway southbound from Cedric Street to Vincent Street.
• Widened the Mitchell Freeway northbound from Hutton Street to Cedric Street.
• Realigned the Principal Shared Path along the eastern side of the Mitchell Freeway.
• Built a new cycling and pedestrian bridge over Scarborough Beach Road along the Mitchell Freeway.
• Built a new cycling tunnel under Hutton Street.
• Funded the roundabout at Boya Way and Erindale Road, Balcatta.
• Blackspot funding for new roundabouts at Powell/Waterloo Street, Joondanna and McDonald/Albert Street, Osborne Park.
• Commenced the Stephenson Avenue extension from Scarborough Beach Road across the Mitchell Freeway to Cedric Street in Stirling.
• Planning a $90 million funded upgrade to Stirling Bus Interchange at Stirling Station.
• Building an amenity wall along Reid Highway, Westminster.
• Extended the school zone on Riley Street, Tuart Hill for Tuart Hill Primary School.
• Better signage on the Hutton Street southbound on-ramp for vehicles merging to turn on to Cape Street.
• Expanded the bike shelter at Stirling Train Station.
• Progressing a business case for Reid Highway and Erindale Road intersection upgrades.
• Installed right-turn arrows at the Karrinyup Road and Grindleford Drive/San Remo Boulevard intersection.
• Improvements to the Main, Hutton, Royal St intersection, with design underway.
• Designing and funded improvements to the Main/Green Street and Scarborough Beach Road intersection.
• Stop sign reinstated at the Powell/Banksia Street intersection.
• Announced plans and funding to make the Mitchell Freeway southbound a Smart Freeway.
• Completed an intersection upgrade at Wanneroo Road, Green Street and Walcott Street.
• Designed, funded and commenced forward works on upgrading the Morley Drive/Wanneroo Road intersection.
