You can not miss the work underway to extend Stephenson Avenue to form a new connection from Cedric Street to Scarborough Beach Road, including a new bridge over the Mitchell Freeway.

As part of the project, the Stirling Bus Station is also being upgraded to a 30-stand bus interchange, along with construction of a new pedestrian access bridge between Stirling Station and the southern car park.

This is a huge congestion busting project, which will mean less traffic on local roads, better access to the Mitchell Freeway, and better access to public transport.

As part of the works, the shared path for pedestrians and cyclists will also be connected from Telford Crescent to Civic Place, including an underpass under Stephenson Avenue - finally taking it off the backstreets of Stirling.
